The most flexible and usable player I've been using MX player for a couple years now, and it just works. It plays everything I throw at it and gets regular updates. I would love to not have to go find and download advanced audio codecs every time I change phones but won't hold legal licensing issues against them. The codecs are easy enough to find and install.

Almost perfect I've used this app for years I love how user friendly and easy it is to use. The only downside is that it's not compatible with Chromecast and every once in awhile I'll try to play a video file and there won't be any sound but it doesn't happen too often. All in all it's the best app available

The H/W thingy won't work for me, I turned it off and every thing worked perfectly.. the interface is nowhere near what you'd expect, definitely needs to look better and to be more organized.. other than that it played every video format I tried so far...

Best video player EVER This app plays so many different video formats, the video display size is fully adjustable, and it just has so much to offer. I do wish it could show folders within folders to separate different seasons of shows, but it's not really a big deal though. Like, within one folder, you may have "Season 1," and it will only display that folder, not the parent folder AND the name of the folder within, just the "Season 1" folder if that makes sense.
